I know my blog is abit dead. Probably I didn't update for more than a month. The reason being is I don't know how to start. I wanted to blog something about the whole Cambodia trip. But it just has too many things to blog about it. And now, the freshman orientation camp is over, I should sit down one day and think about how to start writing about it... LOL.

Project Semakau: 4th Trip - Transect Studies
I guess the South-west monsoon was doing the job, helping us to blow away the clouds. This give us a lot of hope that the weather would be good today. There's no bus today to bring us to the intertidal site. So we had to walk quite long distance. Lucky the weather is cooling. I enjoyed it very much as I could look out for more things.
Finally the real job had to get started. It was my first time doing transect survey and I'm posted to do the seagrass transect... which I don't really like because I don't know how to differentiate between seagrass. Haha. Thanks to Samuel and Crystal who guided me along. We completed our transect quite fast as our region was quite bare. I'm glad that I had gained quite a knowledge on seagrass after the transect survey. I didn't take photos on seagrass today probably the next time then I will do it. Let's see my 'harvest' today...

Discover Leonardo Da Vinci
I know he is a great person. Probably the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, has brought more attention to him. The painting of Last Supper or Mona Lisa has always been controversy about it among different groups of people. Painting that can create so much of discussion is definitely a must-see. So now, the chance is here for all Singaporeans. The Da Vinci - The Genius Exhibition is here in Singapore.
I used to be confused whether is he a scientist or an artist. After been through the exhibition, I'm impressed by this person. He is both a scientist and artist. But not only that, he is also a inventor, engineer, sculptor, anatomist, biologist, musician, architect, philosopher..! I used to think that scientist and artist cannot co-exist in a person. Haha.
One of the stuffs that amazed me is probably the anatomy of the human body. I have no idea how he managed to draw out the details of the bones and organs of a human body, especially during the 15th century. Indeed, I have learnt more about the Last Supper, Mona Lisa and also the Vitruvian Man. If I ever have the chance to go to Europe, I will like to look at the real paintings at the museum.
One disappointing issue is that we are not allow to take any photos in the exhibition. Anyway, this exhibition will be here until August. So take the chance to see it.

I like this quote and I'm still trying:
"I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do."
-Leonardo da Vinci

Experience as Car Washer
After 2 consecutive days of car washing... I'm slag..! I had washed about over 100 of cars this weekend. Honda, Toyota, BMW, Mercs, Prosche and even minibus! The funny thing was, i don't get to wash any Jaguars. I have gotten to experience what the life of being a car washer in petrol kiosk. And most importantly, I learned how to wash a car properly. It really gave us satisfaction when the cars came in dirty and leave the station with shine. Once again, we have to thank all the friends who came down and helped out due to shortage of manpower. We also like to thank the Shell staffs for teaching us and helping us out. Lastly, I like to thank all my friends and also generious drivers who came down to support and let us wash their precious car. LOL Car Wash Fund Raising successful!
